Spanish authorities have announced that as of June 7, 2021, all tourists from countries outside the European Union and the Schengen Area will be allowed to enter Spain, provided they have been vaccinated.

According to this rule, all Albanian citizens with biometric passports, who have the certification of the two vaccines performed, at least 14 days before the trip, enter Spain without any restrictions.

In order for travelers to visit Spain, the vaccine must be approved by either the European Medicines Agency (EMA) or the World Health Organization (WHO).

Doses of vaccines known to the Spanish authorities include Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen, Sinopharm and Sinovac-CoronaVac.

All vaccinated travelers must prove that they have received the two required doses at least 14 days before entering the country.

Unvaccinated children will also be allowed to enter Spain as long as they are traveling with their vaccinated parents. The rule applies only to children up to 6 years of age. Older children should have a negative COVID-19 test result at most 72 hours before the arrival.
