Simulated test from the Albanian Civil Aviation Authority

TIRANA, 30 September 2020 - Tirana International Airport announces that a simulated bomb threat carried out by the Albanian Civil Aviation Authority in cooperation with the Rinas Police Commissariat, inside the airport building has led to the evacuation of all passengers and airport staff today, 30 September 2020, at 11:29, as the Emergency Plan procedures for such cases were put in place.

All passengers and employees of the airport have re-entered the terminal building, following the notification of the Rinas Police Commissariat that such "alarm" was a simulated test.

We would like to inform the passengers and their families that the airport is operating normally and there are no delays in the scheduled flights.
