In an announcement by the Albanian Civil Aviation Authority (ACAA) it is stated that "ticket as an evidence of your travel is indispensable if you wish to catch your flight". The ACAA advises passengers that in conditions of restriction of circulation they should consider departing early, to enable timely arrival at the airport.

The ACAA specifies that only one family member can accompany the passenger to the airport, always carrying a flight ticket or a photo of the ticket, as well as the passport, otherwise the State Police will not let you pass, the ACAA advises.

Likewise, police explains that all citizens who are flying through Tirana International Airport, must first confirm with the police operational units, by calling the numbers 112 or 129, the time of their travel from home to Rinas, the airline, and the time of flight departure.

“In case these notifications have not been made in advance to the operational police units, by calling 112 and 129, in regard to the scheduled departure time, the flight ticket and the person who is flying, he or she will not be allowed to move on any of the road axes and will be penalized, in compliance with the provisions of the Road Code, and at the same time with other sanctions which have been issued in implementation of the emergency situation we are going through” said the police in the statement.
