- Adria Airways will operate the routes with an Airbus 319
- Flights scheduled for twice a week

On Tuesday 31 March 2015, Tirana International Airport (TIA) inaugurated a new route from Tirana, this time to Paris, at a ceremony held to mark the occasion. The Slovenian Airline Adria Airways will operate the route twice a week—on Tuesdays and Saturdays—with an Airbus 319. The route will be operated three times a week after 4 June.

“We are very happy to offer another European capital as a destination to our passengers, and I express my best wishes to Adria Airways over this new route. Paris is a very important hub and very attractive destination, and I can now say that TIA offers an increased connectivity throughout significant hubs. This is very good news for all of us,” said TIA’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Rolf Castro-Vasquez.

Also on Tuesday, Adria Airways began flights from Tirana to Brussels, again scheduled at twice a week—on Tuesdays and Saturdays—and, after 4 June, three times per week with addition of a flight on Thursdays.

The new routes bring to 22 the number of foreign destinations reached by direct flight from Tirana.

Currently, TIA is preparing its 2015 summer schedule with the aim of continuing to offer its customers more choice and consistently high standards of security, service and comfort.
