On 1 December, the real-time flight information on the Tirana International Airport (TIA) website was connected directly with the Airport’s automated system. Since then, TIA has been testing the system’s performance in order to offer its passengers the most accurate information possible.
Changes to flights, delays and cancellations, are now shown immediately on-line for all passengers and those interested to see. Thus passengers travelling through TIA can now check on the website whether there has been any last-minute change to their departing flight, prior to leaving for the Airport. Also, those waiting for passengers to arrive at TIA have the opportunity to check on-line before heading to the Airport when the flight is due to arrive and whether there is a delay or even cancelation.
“Availability of instantly updated information on flight times is crucial for passengers and their family and friends. This is why we are glad to have the opportunity to make life easier for all involved, and to assist our passengers whether on business or leisure trips,” said TIA’s Chief Executive Officer, Mrs Andrea Gebbeken.
TIA is constantly working to make travelling easier and more convenient for its passengers.
