Spinnerei

The Leipziger Baumwollspinnerei is an industrial site in Leipzig, Germany. Parts of this 10-hectare site in the district of Lindenau are used today by art galleries, studios and restaurants. Founded in 1884, the business developed into the largest cotton mill in continental Europe over the next quarter century. 

Kunstkraftwerk Leipzig

Immersive digital interactive multimedia! The former heating plant in the district of Lindenau / Plagwitz has in a short time turned into a center for digital art and culture. Spectacular multi-media installations immerse visitors into the worlds of painters or the industrial culture of Leipzig.

Völkerschlachtdenkmal

The Monument to the Battle of the Nations in the southeast of Leipzig was built in memory of the Battle of the Nations according to designs by the Berlin architect Bruno Schmitz and inaugurated on October 18, 1913.

Panometer

Located on the premises of the Leipziger Stadtwerke, the Panometer Leipzig originally was used to store city gas. In 2003 the Berlin artist Yadegar Asisi started its remodelling with displaying unique and monumental 360° panoramas in the former gasometer.

Hauptbahnhof Leipzig

Leipzig Hauptbahnhof is the central railway terminus in Leipzig, Germany, in the district Mitte. At 83,460 square metres, it is Europe's largest railway station measured by floor area.

St. Thomas Church

Bach served as the choirmaster at this church, to which his grave was moved in 1949, for the last 27 years of his life.
