14 June 2024, Zagreb – Croatia Airlines, Croatia’s flag carrier and member of Star Alliance, has today operated its first flight on the newly introduced Zagreb-Tirana route.

To mark the inaugural flight from Zagreb to Tirana, a welcoming ceremony was held at Tirana Airport to greet the first passengers arriving in Tirana, the capital of Albania, on an Airbus 319 aircraft from Zagreb. This was followed by the operation of the inaugural return flight from Tirana to Zagreb.

Croatia Airlines will be connecting Zagreb and Tirana directly until mid-October this year twice a week, on Fridays, and Sundays.
