On 2 July 2015, Transavia Airlines, Air France KLM Group’s low-cost carrier, inaugurated a route between Paris and Tirana. The flight is scheduled for three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The route emerges from the high demand in the travel industry, and the carrier has announced competitive prices for passengers.

“We are delighted to offer regular flights between Tirana and Paris. It is a pleasure to welcome on board Albanian passengers and to offer them attractive prices. We believe strongly in this route, which we would like to retain and see grow,” said Mr Hervé Kozar, the Commercial Director of Transavia.

An official statement from the carrier says that tickets can be purchased through its website, www.transavia.com, or from any of its offices or authorized travel agents.

“We are very pleased to launch this flight between Tirana and Paris. Transavia Airlines offers very competitive prices and surely will bring additional value to our Airport and to the travel industry. We think this will support the economy in general,” said TIA Chief Executive Officer, Mr Rolf Castro-Vasquez.

TIA is managing the summer season well, and offers consistent high standards of security, service and comfort for all of its customers.
