Alitalia confirms weekly 96 flights to Italy for winter 2014-15

On 16 October 2014, Alitalia announced that the new winter season will see 96 weekly flights to eight different destinations in Italy. The carrier expressed its gratitude to Albanian passengers for using the company at a ceremony held in Tirana on Thursday.

The direct routes that will assist the winter schedule of passengers include Rome, Milan, Pisa, Bologna, Bari, Turin, Venice and Genoa. The flights will be operated by Airbuses A319, A320 and A321.

In another announcement, the Italian carrier reported that it had transported more than half a million passengers between Albania and Italy.

Tirana International Airport is committed to collaborating with the airline companies that operate at the airport, to attract passengers and serve them with the highest European standards of comfort, security and safety.

Currently, TIA has eleven airline companies as customers who serve 20 destinations.
