AJet officially launches operations in Albania with the new Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen – Tirana route.

The inaugural flight was welcomed at TIA with a formal ceremony and traditional water salute, marking another important milestone in strengthening air connectivity between Albania and Türkiye.

With five weekly frequencies in March, daily flights starting in April, and up to 14 weekly frequencies during the summer peak, the route offers enhanced flexibility and access to one of the region’s key aviation hubs.

TIA continues to expand its network and reinforce its role as a strategic gateway for Albania.
