- Tirana International Airport welcomed some 170 tourists from Prague - Scheduled flight from Czech Republic will bring tourists once per week
Tirana International Airport (TIA) held a ceremony on Thursday, 11 September 2014, to celebrate the beginning of a new tourist charter flight between the capital cities of the Czech Republic and Albania. The weekly service is provided by Enter Air and will operate on Fridays. Some 170 tourists arrived on the first flight from Prague, eager to enjoy Albania’s beaches and its wonderful landscapes. The charter flight will operate a Boeing 737 for the new route, which brings to 19 the number of foreign destinations reached by direct flight from Tirana. TIA is contributing greatly to promoting Albania, while at the same time maintaining consistent high standards of security, service and comfort for all of its customers.
