29 March 2027 will mark the launch of twice-weekly flights between Tirana and Luxembourg, operated by TIA’s newest airline partner, Luxair.

The new direct air service will further strengthen the connection between the Albanian capital and key European markets. It will respond to growing demand for Albania as a tourism destination, while also serving the needs of the Albanian community living in Luxembourg.

The launch of the Luxembourg–Tirana service comes at a time when Tirana International Airport has experienced significant growth in both passenger numbers and its network of destinations in recent years.

With the addition of this destination, TIA will now be connected to 39 countries, a record number for the Balkan region.
