Tirana International Airport announces that at 16:15 on September 28, 2021, a small model Beechcraft aircraft with Swiss registration HB-EFH, with 4 people on board, two adults and two children, all Swiss citizens, had to make a forced landing in the middle of the runway after suffering a breakdown in the wheel system. Passengers were given first aid immediately. Thankfully there are no injured and all four are in full health.
Following the notification of the National Air Incident Investigation Body and the investigation in the runway area, the plane was moved from the runway, as a result, operations at Tirana International Airport were suspended for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Flights resumed.
